Model Bisnis dan Daya Saing Hotel E-sports: Bukti Empiris dari Tiongkok dan Prospek Implementasi di Indonesia

Abstrak

Penelitian ini berfokus pada model bisnis dan daya saing hotel e-sports dengan menggali temuan empiris dari Tiongkok, khususnya studi kasus di Provinsi Henan, serta menerjemahkan pembelajaran tersebut ke dalam strategi implementasi yang praktis bagi Indonesia. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif berbasis data sekunder, analisis kasus, dan laporan industri, penelitian ini mengkaji model bisnis yang dominan, sumber keunggulan kompetitif, serta tantangan struktural yang dihadapi hotel e-sports di Tiongkok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hotel e-sports yang sukses mengandalkan model bisnis hibrida yang mengombinasikan operasional langsung, sistem waralaba, dan sumber pendapatan berbasis penyelenggaraan acara, yang didukung oleh standardisasi kualitas layanan serta kemitraan ekosistem yang kuat. Namun demikian, homogenisasi pasar, keterbatasan talenta, dan ketidakkonsistenan kualitas layanan masih menjadi kendala utama. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan kerangka implementasi untuk Indonesia yang mengintegrasikan hotel e-sports dengan destinasi pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif lokal. Selain itu, artikel ini juga menguraikan agenda penelitian ke depan yang berfokus pada sepuluh destinasi pariwisata prioritas Indonesia sebagaimana ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur manajemen perhotelan dan pariwisata dengan menawarkan perspektif lintas negara mengenai bagaimana hotel e-sports dapat meningkatkan daya saing melalui model bisnis yang adaptif di pasar pariwisata negara berkembang.
